Our family have farmed Ballavair for three generations and our passion for rearing the highest quality livestock is matched by our love of the Isle of Man and our appreciation of good food.
Eight years ago, we began our quest to produce truly unique, premium quality beef with a great traditional flavour.
We believe the native Scottish Galloway to be the perfect choice. Galloway beef is renowned in Scotland for its excellence: often described as akin to the ‘finest malt whisky’, it is often served as the ‘premium’ beef in many of the top restaurants.
Farmed using traditional methods, grass-reared and allowed to grow naturally, the beef is beautifully marbled, with a rich, delicious flavour. It is matured on the bone and expertly butchered. Our award-winning Ballavair Galloway recreates beef as it used to be – of known provenance and exceptional quality.
